Methods: descriptive-qualitative study was performed. For this, were interviewed strategic, tactical and operational managers in addition to the superintendency and management of the hospital unit, with a total of 26 managers. Data were obtained through a structured interview, in June 2023. The text was submitted to similarity analysis, which was made based on current and relevant literature topics. Results: the sociodemographic profile was evaluated according to the participants sex, age, professional history (graduation, work/management time in hospital). In addition, the managers' conception about humanization practices, the types of practices used in work processes and the relationship between humanization and quality management were also examined in health services. Therefore, the discussion of the relationship between humanization and quality management was disseminated, in order to ensure continuous and quality healthcare production for users.
