The research adopts a descriptive and quantitative approach and uses the Organizational Climate Perception Scale for the Public Service (EPCOSP) as the data collection instrument, applied to a sample of 30 employees. The data were processed using descriptive statistics. The study identified the age profile and educational level of the participants and evaluated the 13 dimensions that comprise the organizational climate perception scale in the public sector. The results indicate that the predominant organizational climate is classified as reasonable, with positive emphasis on the dimensions of Interaction and Cooperation, Public Value, Professional Performance, and Diversity. Conversely, dimensions such as Participation, Resistance to Change, and Inefficiency proved to be more critical, requiring greater attention from management. The study provides an initial diagnosis of the organizational climate in a small public institution, supporting more effective people management practices. Additionally, it offered an opportunity for learning and growth for the researcher, enhancing the understanding of the challenges faced in public administration. As a limitation, the difficulty of obtaining full participation from employees is highlighted.
