It is a disease caused by the disordered multiplication of abnormal cells in the breast, which forms a tumor with the potential to invade other organs. Objective: To assess the lifestyle habits of breast cancer patients. Method: This is a prospective observational study carried out in a private institution that treats patients from the Unified Health System (SUS) and private health insurance plans. Data was collected from 37 patients through pharmaceutical anamneses between March 2022 and December 2023. The patients included were assessed on their lifestyle habits before diagnosis and during treatment, and the factors observed were alcohol consumption, smoking, physical activity and diet. The data was analyzed by frequency and plotted on an Excel spreadsheet. Results: Of the 37 patients, all were female, with a mean age of 45.5 ± 11.87 years. In the evaluation, 81.08% of patients had never smoked, 18.92% smoked but stopped a long time ago or at the start of treatment and 0% were smoking during treatment; 48.65% of patients did not drink alcohol, 43.24% did but stopped a long time ago or at the start of treatment and 8.11% were drinking during treatment; 43.24% of patients were physically active, 37.84% were not physically active, 13.51% were physically active but stopped a long time ago or at the start of treatment and 5.41% were not physically active and started during treatment; 56.76% of patients had a free diet, 21.62% had a balanced diet and 21.62% had a restricted diet. Conclusion: It can therefore be concluded that breast cancer is more prevalent in women, and in relation to patients' lifestyle habits, different results were obtained regarding smoking, alcohol consumption, physical activity and diet.
