Monografia (Graduação em Biomedicina) – Centro de Biociências, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2023.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/54023Domestic violence is a global problem that affects individuals of all ages, genders, and sexual orientation. A term that has been used a lot recently in this context is intimate partner victimization (IPV), characterized as any form of violence from a current or former partner. Revictimization, in turn, is the process in which the individual repeatedly submits to abusive relationships, and it is possible to observe different types of violence, including moral, patrimonial, physical and psychological. The present study set out to aid in the understanding of this revictimization process by evaluating the effects of age and self-esteem.The study was conducted using an online questionnaire answered anonymously via Google forms, with important items regarding sociodemographic data, the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, and a Questionnaire on Multiple Partner Violence. Our results show that, after statistical analysis, no effects were observed for age. In turn, for self-esteem, within the hypothesized, all types of violence observed showed significance, indicating revictimization by more than one partner in those individuals with low self-esteem. Therefore, based on the results presented in this study, we consider that they help to understand revictimization by multiple partners.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/RevitimizaçãoParceirosViolênciaAutoestimaIdadeRevictimizationPartnersViolenceSelf-esteemAgeIdade e autoestima: parâmetros relevantes para a compreensão da revitimização por múltiplos parceiros?bachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE
