Método para caracterização e análise de perdas em sistemas de média e baixa tensão da distribuição de energia elétrica. 2020. 74f. These losses correspond to the difference between the amount of electricity injected into the distributor's network, and the amount of energy billed. Part of these losses are those considered technical losses, which consist mainly of the dissipation of energy in the various components of the electrical system, and the other part are those considered non-technical losses, caused mainly by irregularities carried out for fraudulent registration of energy consumption (considered a crime of theft by the Penal Code) and billing failures. Today, concessionaires have very robust plans for combating nontechnical losses, as they have actions that are easy to execute and have relatively low costs. Actions to reduce technical losses, since they require greater investment and intervention in the network, have a lower priority for electricity distribution concessionaires. This work focuses on technical losses, aiming to implement faster actions to reduce technical losses in the medium and low voltage segments of an electrical power system. Initially, a bibliographic review is carried out on the main topics related to electricity losses. Then, the work starts with a quantification of technical losses in various segments of our energy distribution system, following what is contained in Module 07 of the Electricity Distribution Procedures in the National Electric System (PRODIST). Finally, actions are proposed that reduce the losses quantified in the present work. In addition, the positive impact on energy and revenue is estimated, with the reduction of technical losses, proving the viability of these actions.Acesso AbertoPerdas elétricasPerdas técnicasDistribuidoras de energia elétricaRedes de média e baixa tensãoMétodo para caracterização e análise de perdas em sistemas de média e baixa tensão da distribuição de energia elétricamasterThesis
