Métodos para avaliação da passividade de infraestruturas para próteses totais fixas implantossuportadas: Uma Revisão de Escopo. Orientadora: Samira Albuquerque de Sousa. 2025. 62 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Odontologia) - Departamento de Odontologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/64573Objective. The aim of this scoping review was to map the methods used to evaluate the passivity of frameworks in implant-supported fixed complete dentures. Materials and Methods. This scoping review followed the PRISMA-ScR guidelines and was registered in the Open Science Framework platform (10.17605/OSF.IO/S53AM). Based on the PCC concept, where P: fully edentulous patients rehabilitated with multiple implants, C: parameters for evaluating frameworks passivity, and C: prosthetic rehabilitation with implant-supported fixed complete dentures, a search was conducted in the PubMed/MEDLINE, Web of Science, Scopus, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases, without language restrictions, for studies published in the last 10 years (2015 to May 2025). Results. A total of 36 studies were included, 22 in vitro and 14 clinical studies, distributed across 14 countries and 15 journals. The findings revealed qualitative methods (stability, retention, probes, and radiography) and quantitative (microscopy, photogrammetry, superimposition, finite element analysis, and biomechanical) to assess passivity, primarily under the single-screw test. Strategies such as framework sectioning and welding, splinting of impression copings, low-expansion dental stone, scanning, indexed models, and hot isostatic pressing were employed to minimize misfits. Conclusion. There is a diversity of qualitative and quantitative methods, often associated with the single-screw test, to evaluate misfits in frameworks, along with strategies aimed at minimizing discrepancies and reducing techniques complications. Clinical Relevance. The studies demonstrated variability in protocols for evaluating framework passivity, highlighting the need to validate a reliable diagnostic method applicable to clinical practice.pt-BRAttribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/Implantação de prótese dentáriaProtocolos clínicosInfraestruturaAjuste de prótese.Métodos para avaliação da passividade de infraestruturas para próteses totais fixas implantossuportadas: Uma Revisão de Escopo. Methods for evaluating the passivity of implant-supported fixed complete denture frameworks: A Scoping ReviewbachelorThesisCIENCIAS DA SAUDE
