This is a descriptive study, with a qualitative approach, whose population is understood by the manager of a school in the municipal education network in the western region of RN and the sample is non-probabilistic. The data collection technique used was the online interview. As data collection procedures, in addition to the interview with the manager, documentary research was carried out, and thus, the data obtained reveal that the role of the school manager is essential for the professional qualification of teachers and obtaining the best possible results in the process. of teaching and learning. It is concluded that there are many challenges faced by the school manager regarding the financial resources they need to have to favor the continuing education of teachers.
