Subconjunto terminológico da classificação internacional para a prática de enfermagem (CIPE®) em neonatos com cateter venoso central de inserção periférica à luz da teoria de Betty Neuman. 2020. 102f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Enfermagem) - Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2020.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/31723The Peripherally Inserted Central Venous Catheter (PICC) stands out among the central catheters inserted in neonatal intensive care units. The handling of the PICC catheter presupposes skills and competencies that favor the safety of the newborn and that reduce the risks of complications associated with the catheter. In this directive, as a tool that organizes the practice and directs the patient's needs, the Nursing Care Systematization (SAE) has a significant impact on the quality of care directed to the patient. In this sense, the study aimed to develop a CIPE® Terminological Subset for newborns with peripherally inserted central venous catheters, with theoretical support for the Systems Model developed by Betty Neuman. This is a methodological study, with 124 newborns, developed in four stages: 1st - identification of the Nursing Practice phenomena for newborns using the PICC; 2nd - elaboration of Nursing Diagnostics, Results and Interventions; 3rd - Construction of the diagnostic statements, results and interventions; 4th - validation and statistical analysis of the statements of Diagnostics, Results and Nursing Interventions; 5th - CIPE terminology subset structure. The project was submitted to the Research Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, obtaining approval with the Certificate of Presentation for Ethical Appreciation (CAAE) 48990515.0.0000.5292. Data analysis was performed using the Concordance Validation Index (IVC> 0.80). 31 diagnoses / results and 154 nursing interventions were validated, which comprised the terminological subset, among them: Risk of hemorrhage, Agitation, Pain, Risk of infection, Hypothermia, Impaired thermoregulation, Edema, Hematoma, Impaired Skin Integrity and Vital Sign Changed. It is concluded that from the nursing records and identification of clinical findings it was possible to elaborate the ICNP® nursing diagnoses, results and interventions for newborns with peripherally inserted central venous catheters. In addition, the use of the Neuman systems model represented a conceptualphilosophical foundation capable of directing clinical assessment to identify stressors and their possible causes.Acesso AbertoProcessos de enfermagemTerminologiaDiagnóstico de enfermagemEnfermagemCateterismo venoso centralRecém-nascidoSubconjunto terminológico da classificação internacional para a prática de enfermagem (CIPE®) em neonatos com cateter venoso central de inserção periférica à luz da teoria de Betty NeumanTerminological subconject of international classification for nursing practice (ICNP®) in neonates with central venous catheter of peripheral insertion in the light of the theory of Betty NeumanmasterThesis
