The technical character of the analysis studies the effects that an enterprise may cause in a given place, according to its attributions. In Natal, the classification as a simplified license is according to the activity and size, regulated by Decree number 11681 of December 28, 2018. The Department of Environment and Urbanism is the body responsible for licensing in the municipality. This work aims to analyze the profile of simplified environmental licensing of private works in the city of Natal/RN, presenting all the necessary documentation for the procedural steps and identifying the problems exposed in the licenses requested at SEMURB. The results showed that most of the processes requested at the secretariat presented problems arising from the entrepreneurs themselves, such as correction of documents, lack of documents or other documents requested by the analyst.
