Tenente Laurentino Cruz presents itself as a municipality with significant tourist potential to be developed in the coming years, as it has important natural and cultural attractions, considering also that it is located 750 meters above sea level, becoming one of the coldest cities with the highest altitude in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, offering its visitors a pleasant climate and viewpoints with privileged views, among them the viewpoint of Pedra da Lagoa. In cultural aspects, the municipality stands out with its religiosity and devotion to the patron saint, São Francisco de Assis, in addition to handicrafts and its regional cuisine.
