The research aims to understand how the Direct Money at School Program is carried out within the Dom Matias Patrício de Macedo Municipal School located in the municipality of Serra de São Bento in the state of Rio Grande do Norte - RN. Data were collected in two steps. The first one, aiming to understand how the Direct Money Program works at School, constituted through a survey in the bibliography and pertinent legislation and the second stage consisted of an interview with the school community. The results showed that the execution/application of the PDDE at the Escola Municipal Dom Matias Patrício de Macedo is done in a judicious way, observing the current legislation. The study addressed all of its execution: its adherence, the purchasing process, accountability, in addition to accountability.
