Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Geologia) — Departamento de Geologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/50379The present work shows the result of a research originated by the project “Studies and Basic Project for the Agreste Potiguar Adductor System in Rio Grande do Norte”, which started at IFRN (Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Norte), with the collaboration of the Department of Geology at UFRN (Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte) and aimed to investigate the occurrence of the Barreiras Aquifer and its preliminary hydrogeological and hydrochemical behavior in the BHRG (Guajú River Hydrographic Basin). The investigation was carried out based on data available in the bibliography and through a field campaign, collecting data from wells (flow, static level, dynamic level, precise control, electrical conductivity and lithological-constructive profiles). In addition, geoprocessing techniques in a GIS environment and geological design (hydrogeological sections) were used, with the aim of crossing the data obtained. The wells within the BHRG are few and are geographically poorly distributed, observing a depth that varies from 43 meters to 80 meters, with an average depth of 66 meters and flows between 3 and 39.6 m³/h.
