Thus, based on the area of Comparative Literature, based on Chevral (2019), the poems “O Deus-Verme” and “O Morto Alegre” underwent several readings, with an individual analysis of each poem being made so, subsequently, the texts were studied together and conclusions were gotten. With that, many resemblances were found between the two authors, such as the preciousness of the form, Schopenhauer's influence, strong use of nouns as symbols, relationship with other areas of knowledge and presence of figures of speech. However, the characteristics appear differently in the poem, showing the originality of the authors. Thus, it was possible to conclude that the field of study in the area of Comparative Literature between Charles Baudelaire and Augusto dos Anjos is extremely wide and possible, which maintains the individual genius of each author, perceiving in their works new interpretative possibilities.Attribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/Literatura ComparadaMorteSimbolismoCharles BaudelaireAugusto dos AnjosbachelorThesis
