The study of thermodynamics for the enhancement of these systems is crucial and has a direct contribution to this evolution. Refrigerants are of great interest in the academic field because, in addition to directly impacting system performance, they have a significant influence on environmental issues. In this study, with the help of the Coolpack software and Microsoft Excel, analyses and discussions were conducted on the simple refrigeration cycle using propane (R290), isobutane (R600a), and propylene (R1270) as refrigerants. Through the CoolPack simulation, it was possible to obtain the performance coefficient values for each variation of the analyzed operational parameters.
