For this, we selected thirteen producers of goat milk ACLAP. And to profile these producers, a structured questionnaire was used, multiple choice. The selection of these producers was based on the method of intentional non-probabilistic sampling. Since the association is fairly representative as a producer of goat milk in the Region. For the characterization of pasture and feeding management of the goats, a survey was conducted using a structured questionnaire, which identified: the management regime; The main forage species cultured, the use of mineral supplements, concentrates, and the ingredients in the blends. A phytosociological survey was also carried out in the pasture. The results were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results show that the majority of producers has an average age of 55 ± 12 years, mean age 10 years ± 7 years in the activity and complete secondary education and higher. The producers of this association signaled as the main concern, the low quality of labor, indicating the need for training of workers involved in the dairy goat. The management regime adopted by producers is the semi-intensive. The corn grain and soybean meal are the main base in concentrated animal feed. Napier grass is the forage in the form of capineira, present in 83% of the properties. The phytosociological survey, it was observed that the highest frequencies were of native species in the herbaceous layer. The average for total digestible nutrients (44.65%) values suggest the incorporation of energy supplements in animal diets. Reality found in the evaluated properties. The grazing area during the study period, showed great heterogeneity of species.
