Resposta termoacústica, vibracional e funcional de um sistema tribológico configurados por contatos secos e lubrificados. 2012. 80f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Engenharia Mecânica) - Centro de Tecnologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2012.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/48219It was developed an axial rolling wear test rig in laboratory that permits the variation of the pair "PV", contact pressure and relative velocity acting on a tribological system. Became feasible method to assess damage by wear on the bodies of AISI 52100 steel in dry or lubricated contact. The energy generated and dissipated in the system were measured over the life of the contact, by monitoring the electrical power supplied to the engine from the bench, the heating near the contact of elastic vibrational energy, evaluated by the overall speed of vibration, PSV [mm / s], the acoustic energy given by Sound Pressure Level, NPS [dB]. It was established an investigative hypothesis and tests were developed based on it to dry, lubricated with oil contaminated and not contaminated with iron oxide and iron lubricated with general purpose grease NSK, graphite grease and grease with additives of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2). After the tests, the collected data were processed and analyzed. For the analysis of the damage caused on the surfaces of solid steel were used in contact on the following analysis techniques: optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The bench was effective with regard to its application and generation of meaningful data from the wear of materials in contact thrust bearings and their assessment of lubricating oils used during the process.tribologiaaço AISI 52100ensaio de rolamentodesgastelubrificantenível de pressão sonoraaquecimento do contatoResposta termoacústica, vibracional e funcional de um sistema tribológico configurados por contatos secos e lubrificadosmasterThesis
