The motivation of the work is to demonstrate the evolution of end-to-end test-level software testing tools by evaluating the recent Cypress solution so that the real benefits of using this tool over Selenium are presented. This in turn is a more consolidated tool in the midst of test automation. This paper will address the issues that exist in end-to-end test automation, and the features available in the tools.
