An example of this is the appearance of dark tourism - which comes to increment even more the tourist scene - having as a destination environments where the dark is present, whether through places related to deaths, fanciful stories or myths, or even with some tragic historical fact. This research aims to analyze the potential of dark tourism and its possible attractions in the state of Rio Grande do Norte in Brazil, raising reports and historical data, categorizing and mapping them. The study is classified as descriptive and qualitative, with bibliographic and documental research.
