The study aimed to develop a technical product for child growth and development consultations of dental surgeons who provide care in family health strategies in a medium-sized municipality. This is a methodological study, in which an instrument with 16 items was developed, and subsequently, the instrument was validated by professional dental surgeons in the city to analyze the relevant aspects of using the instrument. The data was subjected to content analysis. All professionals agreed that the instrument favors the work of dental surgeons at CeD in the Family Health Strategy, as well as providing higher quality and standardized care. The content validity coefficient for most (15) items obtained a value greater than 80% agreement between the judges and almost all of the judges' suggestions were accepted.
