For this, a range of research tools are used, which are fundamental in oil and gas prospecting, capable of identifying the fluids present in the reservoir, as well as the respective saturations and petrophysical properties of the medium. Geophysics, through well profiling, is used from the exploration phase of a deposit until the abandonment phase, and its study is of the ut most importance. Campo de Namorado is located in the Campos Basin, and is located about 80 km from the coast of the state of Rio de Janeiro. It was defined by the National Petroleum Agency (ANP) as the "school field of Namorado" for having a high degree of knowledge of its geology and petrophysics. In this work, it is proposed a case study about the geophysical characterization of the well of the Campo de Namorado reservoir. The results of this case study were satisfactory, since they were able to gather a great amount of information from different academic works, regarding the characterization of the Namorado reservoir, through the well profiling. In the presented works, information was obtained such as porosity, permeability, saturation, clay volume, lithology and ideitification of fluids.
