Besides that, some characteristics need to be present during this union. Even with conceptual changes about relationship, it is known that truth and commitment with this union are still a moral value. However, this fact does not turns into an obstacle when one of the partners find any interest in someone who is out of the relationship, culminating in infidelity. Therefore, could exist a distinction between men and women regarding what they consider a romantic infidelity? This study aimed to identify that difference between sexes in relation to infidelity. For that, 156 student (ages between 18 and 35 years old), from a variety of degrees at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), answered a questionnaire containing seven items. From this point, it was prepared the infidelity concept, as well as the categorization of six unfaithful behavior types based on the participants answer.
