Since its discovery in 1963, by the scientist Edward Lorenz, the theory of chaos has been applied and it has shown very important in natural phenomena analysis. Thus, enhancing theories such as metereology, biology, stock market, physics, etc. This work is an approach about chaos in deterministic dynamical systems that tries to bring, for undergraduate students, the fundamentals about the theory of chaos and how chaos is attained from an orderly dynamic. The analysis of chaos is done for a system that describes the growth of a determined specie, passing through fixed point method, bifurcation and orbit diagrams, fractals, Poincaré plots and Lyapunov exponents.openAccessDinâmica.
