Often said out of habit, the phrases reinforce prejudice with the location that concentrates more than 40% of the entire city. In addition, the media tend to focus only on the negative aspects of the region, such as violence and community problems. Therefore, this course conclusion work aimed to produce a series of reports on aspects of the history and culture of the North Zone of Natal. Through interviews and a bibliographic research, where information about the historical context, cultural activities and prominent characters was collected, it was possible to identify that the region has unknown reports from the general public. As an example, we can mention the existence of indigenous people in the North Zone, who were not intimidated by the arrival of Portuguese colonists in the 16th century. The ginga with tapioca, a delicacy that takes Rio Grande do Norte to the world, was born in Redinha, a neighborhood in the region. In the series of reports, historians, artists, politicians, communicators and residents who know different aspects of the locality were heard.
