Objective: To know the main health needs reported by pregnant women in the last trimester of pregnancy. Method: This is a descriptive, exploratory research with a qualitative perspective, developed in the Estratégia Saúde da Família (ESF), in a basic health unit, located in the county of Currais Novos, RN. Seven users of the health service took part in the research. The data collection took place from October to December 2021, through semi-structured interviews. Results: The interviews were carried out, transcribed and read exhaustively, giving rise to three categories: Fear; Complaints and Liaison with the health professional. Discussion: Pregnant women identify care needs in relation to fear of situations and injuries during childbirth and towards the baby, complaints about urgencies and urinary incontinence, needs for solving the health system, in addition to improving the liaison with the health professional that provides prenatal care.
