The increased search for sustainable solutions has driven the sector to innovate in products with low energy consumption. And in design decisions, energy efficiency is a crucial factor. This case study aims to analyze the technical and economic forecast of implementing a retrofit in the existing air conditioning system. The standards for carrying out the project, software for calculating thermal load, computer simulation of the project and limitations of a system will be highlighted. And, by comparing the energy performance of conventional Split System and VRF systems, the best solution will be highlighted.
