This study aims to analyze the environment for the Management of Knowledge among managers of a private school in the countryside potiguar, from the 7 dimensions worked by Terra (2001) – identifying the level managers' understanding of KM; the presence of the 7 dimensions of the knowledge in group activities and strengths and weaknesses in the KM environment. The research is an exploratory study, with a mixed approach (quantitative qualitative). The population consists of 46 individuals and the sample represents 89% of this group, being 41 individuals. The data collection technique was performed by questionnaire, applied with the Survey Monkey® digital tool, being submitted to analysis of the averages and frequencies of the answers, evaluating the level of agreement according to the Likert scale (1932). The results reveal that there are presence of elements from the dimensions of knowledge and there is incentive for their circulation, without institutionalizing such practices, so that some elements are weakened. It is concluded that there is partial maturity of the Knowledge Management, with weaknesses in dimensions 2, 3, 4 and 5.
