The blended experience with VT allows learners to plan their speech and edit innumerous times before publishing it online. In this context, this study aims to verify how the systematic practice with VT, in a blended learning approach, can impact learners’ L2 oral production (in terms of fluency, accuracy and complexity) and noticing capacity. In order to answer this research question, 49 L2 learners of English were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group was exposed to activities using VT and, through a pre- and post-test, we checked if this practice would positively influence the participants’ oral and noticing scores. These results were compared to the pre- and post-test scores of the control group, which was not exposed to VT.
