To this end, the theoretical and scientific assumptions that support this research are based on the studies of Lévy, Kenski, Freire, Paro, Fullan, among others, who discuss the concepts of technology, communication, and the relationship between school and family. The central question of this research is: How can the use of digital information and communication technologies contribute to the dialogical communication between school and family? We defined as central objective: to analyze new strategies for a more dialogical communication between school and families, with the use of digital technologies of information and communication. The research methodology is based on the qualitative approach, and its empirical field is the premises of the State School Senador Dinarte Mariz, and its subjects are the students of the Elementary School II, their guardians and the school staff. As for the objectives, the research is explanatory, because it seeks to better understand the reality researched, identifying the factors that determine or contribute to a more dialogical communication between school and family. As for the method, it is characterized as participant research, in which the research technique called focus group was used. The data collection was made from participant observation, logbook, questionnaire, and audio records. To carry out the analysis, we sought to interpret the statements of the subjects, as well as the researcher's interpretation of the facts. At the end of the research, we gathered subsidies to analyze the impacts of the actions, noticing which contributions digital technologies can bring to school communications and which of these technologies are more feasible to implement in the school researched. As a result, we concluded that the communication between school and family in the researched school needs to be strengthened through the appropriate use of tools that facilitate this communication, so that both institutions can fulfill their formative roles in a collaborative way. Thus, we realize that communication, from the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies, in a planned way, constitutes a facilitator of the interaction between the two institutions. In this perspective, we have collectively built - with the participation of the school and the families - a guide for a more dialogical communication between school and family that may serve as a reference for educational professionals in the school in question, or even for other educational institutions that may develop such practices, making the necessary adaptations to their specific contexts. It was also possible to conclude that families follow the students' educational process and wish for a more dialogical relationship with the school. However, the school still feels that this follow-up by the family in relation to the students' school life needs to be better developed.
