In order to do this, we tried to make the students construct their own knowledge, working basic principles of historical research, theoretical and empirical, by the understanding that school education also produces a historical knowledge of its own. Classroom procedures and strategies were targeted to Ninth Year students and lasted approximately one year, interspersing analyses of diverse sources and discussions about the local and general scope.
