The research utilizes data provided by the e-Dinheiro platform, combined with information from the 2022 Census and the Brazilian Deprivation Index (IBP), to build a georeferenced database and conduct spatial analyses. The Local Multiplier 3 (LM3) methodology was applied to evaluate the multiplier effects of the currency on the local economy, considering three phases of monetary recirculation. The results indicate that, despite the wide coverage of social programs associated with Mumbuca, the full recirculation of the currency is limited by frequent conversion into Brazilian Reais by businesses. Additionally, disparities were identified in the distribution of benefits and currency recirculation among neighborhoods, with patterns of greater vulnerability in specific regions. The study concludes that Mumbuca has significant potential as an instrument for social inclusion and economic dynamization but requires strategies to encourage greater retention of the currency within the territory.
