The school is a place conducive to accidents due to the large number of children who are interacting with it and developing activities. The aim of this study was to identify teachers' knowledge about behavior in emergency situations in the school environment. It is an exploratory, descriptive study with a quantitative approach, carried out in five Municipal Centers for Early Childhood Education (CMEIS), in the city of Natal-RN-Brazil. The sample consisted of 65 teachers, submitted to a questionnaire, collected in August and September 2017. Data were categorized and processed electronically, analyzed by descriptive statistics and presented in the form of tables.
