This paper reinforces this application in schools, pointing to the potential to optimize tasks execution associated to management. In this context, the main objective of this study is to analyze the use of ICTs in the management of public education institutions in the city of Caicó-RN, aiming to identify the potential of this application and to explore the effectiveness in the institutions management through the use of technological tools of support to organizational management. Therefore, this work has a qualitative-quantitative approach, allowing the informations obtained by the questionnaires and interviews with the managers of the selected schools to have a confident conclusion.
