The objective is to implement the model in a specific case following its development. Intrinsically related to the studied company, the research is motivated by the lack of standardization in organizational methods and the limited control of its warehouses. The gap in the literature on inventory audits in the construction industry and the sector's significance in the Brazilian economy drive the study extrinsically. The work was conducted through research-action using qualitative data collected from semi-structured interviews. The research constructed a reference model that included documentation standards, general organization guidelines, processes, and the structure of the inventory audit. We then applied the model to the studied company, capturing its unique characteristics and facilitating the creation of manuals for the organization. The company conducted three audits in different warehouses to validate the constructs. This allowed for the verification of the effectiveness of the constructed model and its importance to the company, highlighting the importance of standardizing processes and defining organizational guidelines for a company's inventory units, and proving that the audit process ensures compliance with the guidelines.Attribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/gestão de processosestoqueauditoriaconstrução civilbachelorThesis
