How do our daily actions impart sense and expressiveness to our lives? This classic question is explored from the perspective of philosopher Susan Wolf, who contends that actions motivated by love are essential for a significant life. However, not just any love-driven acts matter, but only those directed towards what is worthy of love. Despite the compelling nature of this idea, it poses a significant axiological challenge: how to determine what is worthy of being loved? Despite the merit of this idea, it raises a serious axiological challenge: how to judge exactly what is worthy of being loved? The goal of this study is to clarify the thesis of Wolf and Frondizi, as well as to realize a comparative analysis of both theories about values. The text begins with an analysis of Wolf´s theory and proceeds to explore various axiological currents, culminating in the proposal of Frondizi, which is applied in the final interpretation of Wolf´s response to the meaning of life.
