This study presents and performs the implementation of a one-dimensional signal filtering algorithm based on total variation. The intention is to demonstrate the effectiveness of this algorithm through a series of synthetic filtering tests. The results presented in this thesis were highly relevant to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
