The Pharmaceutical Supply Center in the hospital unit is a pharmaceutical service that performs various activities such as: receipt, selection, programming, acquisition, storage, distribution and dispensing of medicines, as well as planning, coordinating, executing, monitoring and evaluating the actions of Pharmaceutical Assistance and effectively carrying out the cycle of pharmaceutical assistance, being one of the most important steps in a hospital pharmacy. The pharmaceutical professional directly contributes to the outcome of the treatment of every patient in the hospital, since through their actions it is possible to guarantee a specific treatment, thus guaranteeing the rational use of medicines.
