Orientador: Moisés Alberto Calle Aguirre. 2023. 54 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Ciências Atuariais) - Departamento de Demografia e Ciências Atuariais, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2023.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/54157Maternal mortality is a concern that existed before the pandemic and that COVID-19 has only exacerbated this situation. For this work, a study was carried out through applications of continuous time series, where graphical analyzes will be observed to identify patterns and characteristics, but still identify discrepant or inconsistent values. We will investigate the mechanism of the series under study, look for relevant periodicities in the data, and describe its behavior through the analyses. All cases of deaths of women that occurred during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic, referring to the periods from January 2019 to December 2022 in all regions of Brazil, associated with pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium, were included in the study, excluding all deaths whose occurrence was not in any way related to the described study framework. Given the above, we can conclude the increase in these deaths caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus through direct and indirect causes in 2021, but with reductions in the second half of 2022.COVID-19Mortalidade maternaMinistério da Saúde do BrasilSéries temporaisARIMAAtuáriaMaternal mortalityBrazilian Ministry of HealthTime seriesMortalidade materna durante a pandemia da COVID-19: uma análise situacional do BrasilMaternal mortality during the COVID-19 pandemic: a situational analysis of BrazilbachelorThesisCNPQ::OUTROS::CIENCIAS ATUARIAIS
