METHOD: Scope review, in LILACS, SCIELO and BDENF databases. The study had as a guiding question "What are the impacts on the grieving experiences of people who lost their relatives by covid-19 during the pandemic according to the literature?" After applying the selection criteria, a sample of 9 articles was obtained. RESULTS: the 9 selected articles were published between 2020 and 2021, in the theoretical essay, review article and opinion article categories. As a method, most were identified as documentary research, qualitative studies and narrative review. All articles were of national origin and studied groups with similar characteristics in the face of grief experiences.
