Retratos do Geoparque Seridó-RN: explorando e inovando sob o olhar da linguagem e da tecnologia. Orientador: Dra. Célia Maria de Araújo. 2024. 118f. Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Inovação em Tecnologias Educacionais) - Instituto Metrópole Digital, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2024.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/59270The aim of this study was to highlight the contributions that the Seridó Geopark makes to the teaching-learning process of Biology and Geography, in the 1st grade of Potiguar High School, at the Professor Antônio Aladim de Araújo State School, in the city of Caicó-RN, based on cordel productions, from the perspective of language and technology. With regard to the research question, we sought to understand: "How do language and technology about the Seridó Geopark contribute to the teaching-learning process of students in the subjects of Biology and Geography?". As specific objectives: we proposed productions of the Cordel textual genre as a pedagogical strategy in the teaching of Biology and Geography, analyzing how this resource contributes to the understanding and assimilation of complex concepts by students in the 1st grades of Potiguar High School; we checked with students and teachers the difficulties in the teaching and learning process in Biology and Geography, with a view to elucidating knowledge about the study of the Seridó Geopark; we applied pedagogical actions and guidelines for the effective implementation of the Seridó Geopark as a teaching resource and the use of Cordel genre productions as a teaching tool. As for the methodological aspects, this was an action research project with a field visit to the first grade class at the Professor Antônio Aladim de Araújo State School, in the municipality of Caicó-RN. The theoretical basis was taken from: Geoparque Seridó (2023); Gomes (2019); Freire (2003); Thiollent (1986); Demo (2008); Brasil (1996, 1998, 2006) and other various authors. The relevance of this study was to associate the students' reality with the region in which they live, especially in relation to the existence and contribution of the Seridó Geopark to the space in which they live, attributing to this notions of Biology and Geography, such as rainfall, wind, solar radiation, rock transformation, flowering, fruit, environmental disasters, global warming, water issues, minerals, among others. All these issues were experienced by the students in their daily lives, since it is important for them to be aware of the influence and contribution that the Geopark has on this issue. The results were: the production of cordéis with the students, written and declaimed on video, resulting in a collection of verses, proving the students' grasp of knowledge; and the realization that both students and teachers have little access to information about the Geopark. They also realized that they need to know more about the area so that they can teach their students about this region, which is considered so important.Acesso AbertoGeoparque SeridóBiologiaGeografiaLinguagemTecnologiaCordéis declamadosRetratos do Geoparque Seridó-RN: explorando e inovando sob o olhar da linguagem e da tecnologiamasterThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO
