Avaliação do desempenho zootécnico de juvenis de Macrobrachium rosenbergii cultivados com dietas contendo diferentes níveis de fermentado comercial. 2022. 29f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Zootecnia) - Unidade Acadêmica Especializada em Ciências Agrárias, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Macaíba, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/50441Over the years, aquaculture has increasingly focused on the implementation of new technologies in favor of high productivity coupled with low production cost, where in this context the symbiotic cultures emerge as an alternative that minimizes production costs and improves feed conversion. Thus, the present experiment aimed to evaluate the zootechnical potential of Macrobrachium rosenbergii cultivated in symbiotic systems. For this purpose, 400 juveniles of M. rosenbergii, with a mean weight of 0.74g±0.05, were divided into 16 boxes at a density of 25cam/m2 during 45 days. The experiment consisted of four treatments and four replicates, being: T1 - received only commercial feed; T2 - 75% feed + 25% fermented; T3 - 50% feed + 50% fermented and T4 - 25% feed + 75% fermented. The animals were fed three times a day (8:00 AM, 12:00 noon, and 4:00 PM) and the leftover feed was siphoned. During culture, water quality analysis was performed daily, evaluating temperature and dissolved oxygen, and weekly, pH and nitrogenous compounds. After 45 days the system was harvested, where it was possible to observe survival above 80% for all treatments. However, T4 presented the lowest weight gain (1.18g±0.5) when compared to the other treatments, and T2 (1.55g±0.6) presented the best performance. The results obtained demonstrate that the use of fermented products can minimize feed costs without harming the production of M. rosenbergii in culture systems.
