It’s discussed mainly in the social and natural sciences áreas called Transverse Themes, which indicate na interdisciplinary methodological proposa lthats hould permeate all curricular contents required, as well as all education stages of basic teaching. In this perspective, there search objective is analyzing how the Transverse Themes are being discussed in the initial years of a public school in Ouro Branco-RN Municipal Network. Methodologically the research consisted of a documentary research, interviews with the teachers Who teaching in the initial year sand lesson plans analysis. Besides, werelyon the author writings like: Libâneo et al (1994 and 2012), Luckesi (2011), Turra et al (1975), Tardif (2010) amongo the rauthors. This work accomplishmentis justified by the necessity of inserting in the school routine, the study and social issues reflection that can develop in the students, abilities in keeping with the reality in which they are inserted. There foreit's necessary that educators can reflecton their practices and adaptto a flexible teaching proposal that contemplates the interdisciplinarity and curriculum transversality.
