Endodontia guiada como técnica auxiliar ao acesso de canais radiculares calcificados: uma revisão integrativa. Orientadora: Lilian Karine Cardoso Guimarães de Carvalho. 2025. 13f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Odontologia) - Departamento de Odontologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/61258The integration between Endodontics and new technologies represents a significant step towards technical performance, providing greater precision, efficiency and quality to endodontic treatments. In this context, modernizing and revolutionizing this area of Dentistry even further, the Guided Endodontics technique emerged, bringing greater safety and predictability to the access of calcified root canals, which were previously seen as highly complex due to the difficulty in locating the canals, and with high risks of iatrogenic accidents when performed freehand. This study aimed to report, through an integrative literature review, the use of guided endodontics as an auxiliary technique for accessing calcified root canals, verifying its advantages and limitations. Searches were carried out in 4 databases (MEDLINE, LILACS, SciELO and PubMed), for scientific productions published between 2022 and 2023, using the descriptors “endodontics”, “guided”, “canals” and “calcified”, connected by the operator AND. Only articles available in full were included, and reviews, conference proceedings, case reports and duplicate articles were excluded. After applying these criteria, 3 articles were selected to compose this study. It was concluded that the use of guided endodontics as an auxiliary technique for accessing calcified root canals ensures greater predictability and precision in the treatment, as well as reducing the working time and requiring a smaller learning curve for execution. Its main limitations are the anatomical nature of the root canals, the location of the tooth in the dental arch and the high cost of the guide manufacturing process.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Endodontia guiadaOdontologia digitalCalcificação radicularEndodontia guiada como técnica auxiliar ao acesso de canais radiculares calcificados: uma revisão integrativaGuided endodontics as an auxiliary technique for accessing calcified root canals: an integrative reviewbachelorThesis
