It is a candidate to replace silicon dioxide as a dielectric material for MOS-type devices. Moreover, zirconia is also a candidate for improvement in charge transfer since there is occurrence of electronic transitions between the ground and excited states due to the oxygen vacancies present in the material. Zirconia exhibits three distinct structural phases: monoclinic, tetragonal and cubic, respectively, where its crys- tallization depends on the temperature’s sintering conditions. In this work, we investigate the vibrational and structural properties of zirconia tapes prepared by the tape casting method. Its structural properties were characterized by Raman spectroscopy with the aid of X-ray diffraction pattern. In addition, we also analysze its Raman spectrum for three different laser lines: 488, 514, 568, and 633 nm, respectively, aiming to shed lights on the vibrational and electronic properties of this material.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/ZircôniaEspectroscopia RamanPropriedades vibracionais.ZirconiaRaman spectroscopyVibrational propertiesPropriedades vibracionais e estruturais de fitas de zircônia por espectroscopia RamanStructural and vibrational properties of zirconia ceramic tapes by Raman spectroscopybachelorThesisCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS
