Thus, the objective of this study is to evaluate the results of two rehabilitation programs, one carried out on land and the other in an aquatic environment, on the quality of life of individuals in the chronic phase of chikungunya. This is a randomized clinical trial study, conducted in the city of Santa Cruz-RN. The sample totaled 53 participants of both sexes and aged between 18 and 75 years, assessed through a sociodemographic and health conditions questionnaire, developed for this study, in addition to the Short Form 36 Health Survey (SF-36) questionnaire, to assess quality of life. Participants were randomly assigned to two groups: Functional Rehabilitation Group on land (GRF) and Aquatic Therapy Group (GTA). The groups underwent intervention twice a week for a period of six weeks, which consisted of multimodal exercises. A descriptive analysis of the variables of interest was performed, in addition to inferential analysis using Student's t-test, both for independent samples to compare the groups under investigation, and for related samples to compare the groups before and after the interventions.
