The main results were: MEI had an average default rate of 52.31% per year; an average increase of approximately 1,049,323 new entrants to the MEI program per year; the total contribution due by MEI on October 31, 2022 would be BRL 46,586,091,195.25, for a total of 14,690,522 Individual Microentrepreneurs; the simulation carried out based on the rules of the INSS/CLT, taking into account the total number of Microentrepreneurs and the value of one minimum wage per MEI, returned the amount due for the contribution of R$71,896,987,956.68; The projection for the year 2024, taking into account the assumptions adopted in the present work, demonstrated that the MEI in the short term, and due to the high number of Individual Microentrepreneurs of working age, would have sufficient resources to finance the inactive ones of their own category estimated to receive retirement in 2024, as well as other RGPS beneficiaries. The MEI program proved to be efficient in these first 13 years of existence, with regard to the quantitative that rose from a total of 44,188 MEI's to 14,690,522 Microentrepreneurs, moreover, in the projection made for the year 2024, considering the assumptions used in this work, the MEI would have a collection of R$ 13,483,634,669.38 and a cost with benefits of R$ 11,323,617,429.61.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Microempreendedor Individual (MEI)Regime Geral da Previdência Social (RGPS)Análise de regressãoIndividual Microentrepreneur (MEI)General Social Security System (RGPS)Regression analysisMicroempreendedores individuais (MEI): análise dos impactos financeiros no Regime Geral da Previdência Social (RGPS)Individual Micro-Enterprises (MEI): analysis of financial impacts on the General Social Security Regime (RGPS)bachelorThesis
