In this way, we aim to spark their interest in the local history of their community and in the broader context, making the teaching-learning process more engaging and meaningful. Given our previous successful experiences, we understand that this approach could help students realize that they are historical subjects/actors and also part of a larger perspective. This dissertation aims to analyze and problematize productions on the researched theme and the possible paths for implementation in our History classes. The historiographical sources we will use are mainly collective memory and interviews conducted by the teacher and students, thus enabling students to develop critical-reflective thinking and engage with the scientific method particular to Historical Science.
