To assist in the implementation of intervnetions and protective measures in this regard, research data are needed. Thus, this study aimed to describe and evaluate factors related and predictive of anxiety, depression, stress and psycjological distress associated with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in the healthcare team of a reference hospital in the care of patients with COVID-19 four months after the first confirmed case in Brazil. This was a cross-sectional, descriptive and correlational study. The study undertaken is descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational. 112 COVID-19 frontline professionals, specifically nurses, nursing technicians, physiotherapist and physicians, based at Hospital Giselda Trigueiro. To asses variables, the following instruments was used: sociodemographic questionnaire, a questionnaire for professional aspect related to COVID-19, the DASS-21 scale and the IES-R scale. Data analysis was based at descriptive and inferential statistics. Results pointed that 78,57% of the frontline professionals in coping eith COVID-19 had symptoms of stress, 57,14% of anxiety and 52, 68% of depression. In addition, 41,07% of professionals had psychological distress associated to PTSD.
