It is reported experiences obtained by a designer working in conjunction with the institution's technological development team between the years 2019 and 2020. The project was developed within the scope of the Superintendence of Informatics (SINFO) at UFRN and used the methodological bases of a collaborative design tool, developed in the Design area of ​​that unit and based on the model of semiotic layers of design. The model has cycles of exploration, resolution and validation to generate a series of information from outputs (domains) organized by diagnosis, requirements, alternatives and feedbacks, which were cataloged throughout the research process. In addition to the methodological approach used, the motivation, justification and objectives of the work are described, as well as the theoretical foundation on which it is based. The results shows the main activities and techniques used in each domain of the method used, together with reports of the experiences of working together with the team of developers and their contributions at each stage of the project.
