However, despite the many possibilities for using these tools, in areas such as network infrastructure, the use of these tools still opens up space for security and information integrity problems in certain materials. Considering these possible problems, this work aims to develop and implement a plugin for managing optical fibers that will be integrated into the NetBox system. Through the analysis of functional requirements, as well as database modeling and software development through open source tools, the plugin will manage the PoP-RN's fiber optic stock. Through the plugin that this work intends to develop, it is expected that the problems of robustness and data security can be reduced, since the occurrence of errors in systems built through a software process tends to be reduced.
