The emergence of the COVID-19 Pandemic both accentuated the problems already faced by public education and created new ones. Faced with this new scenario, school management needed not only to develop new skills, but also to develop new strategies in order to guarantee excellence in the teaching-learning process. In this context, the general objective outlined was to understand the experiences of this school management and, for that, it unfolded into three specific objectives: to identify the main challenges faced by the management team of an EPMN during the COVID-19 Pandemic; to know the difficulties faced by the school management of an EPMN after the pandemic period; to point out the strategies adopted by the management team of an EPMN in facing the challenges during and after the COVID-19 Pandemic. Thus, a case study was developed through descriptive research, with an applied nature and a qualitative approach, in which document analysis and semi-structured interviews were used. The content analysis proposed by Bardin (2011) was applied to the collected data. In order to facilitate understanding, the responses were grouped into the following categories: Challenges faced and Strategies adopted by school management during the Pandemic; Challenges faced and Strategies adopted by school management in the Post-Pandemic period. The results indicated that despite the pandemic scenario and the limited resources that the school had access to, it adopted measures such as: assembly, printing and distribution of activities; active search for students and formation of groups on WhatsApp; alignment of the delivery of basic food baskets made available by the municipal government to the delivery of activities; continuing education of teachers; division of students identifying them by color to reduce the risk of contamination when returning to face-to-face classes.
